"I brought up a big family but GCNS has helped me re-educate my mind about how not to waste food. It can save money too."

Communities

Making changes to our personal lifestyles, homes and communities CAN have a significant impact on reducing our carbon emissions.

Approximately 40% of the UK's emissions come directly from things we as individuals have direct control over e.g. heating, energy use, transport and even food.

So, if we all work together, we really can make a difference as individuals. Working together we can also understand what changes businesses, the council and government need to make so that carbon cutting is easier for us.

Who do we support?

Going Carbon Neutral Stirling (GCNS) supports community groups and organisations of all shapes and sizes – our only criteria is that you want to make a difference! So whether you are a Church, a line dancing group, a sports team or a mothers and toddlers group we can help and support you to reduce your carbon footprint.
